X-rays
If worry over radiation exposure has kept you or members of
your family from getting the care you need, we have a solution.
Our practice offers only low-emission X-rays, which contain
more than 90 percent less radiation than traditional X-rays
but still achieve the same clear, reliable results.
Exams
Although twice-daily brushings and regular flossing are excellent
for maintenance between office visits, regular examinations
and cleanings are an absolute necessity if you are to maintain
a healthy mouth. Our staff will help you keep your teeth and
gums strong and disease-free.
Individualized Treatment Plans
Everyone needs different dental treatment, and here we are
committed to designing precise, individualized solutions for
each and every patient we see. Whether you are in need of
new fillings, a root canal, veneers, crowns, or any other

Prophy
There are all types of home-use toothpastes on the market—and
while many are quite effective, none are as equipped to battle
plaque and decay as well as prophy paste. This special paste—applied
when you have your teeth cleaned at the dentist—comes
in a variety of flavors sure to please any palate. Prophy
paste can eliminate stains, remove plaque, and polish the
teeth, leaving them sparkling clean.
Fluoride
Experts concluded long ago that the mineral fluoride is quite
effective in protecting tooth enamel from decay. For that
reason, it is added to tap water and other products. But children—whose
teeth are vulnerable—need extra fluoride to keep their
enamel extra strong. Fluoride treatments are an excellent
solution. Fluoride treatments, administered in trays or brushed
onto the teeth, are quick and painless and are given immediately
following professional cleanings.
Periodontics
Unfortunately, periodontal (gum) disease can lead to more
than just an unsightly smile—it can cause loss of teeth
and, eventually, if left untreated, serious health problems.
Called gingivitis in its early stages, periodontal disease
is caused by excessive toxic bacteria (found in plaque) that
attack your mouth’s soft tissues. Early warning signs
of the disease include red, swollen, bleeding gums. If caught
early, we can help you reverse the damage or, if detected
late, we can use one of many effective cosmetic dentistry
procedures to restore your mouth to a healthy, beautiful state.

Fillings
Today, modern, tooth-colored fillings made of durable resin
or porcelain can be bonded to your teeth for a stronger, more
natural-looking effect. These revolutionary fillings are virtually
undetectable and are easy to apply. They are also just as
durable and long lasting as traditional metal fillings.
Implants
Our highly credentialed professional team will guide you through
the entire process of placing and restoring your implants,
which allow for maximum bone preservation in the areas surrounding
the implant sites. No other method of tooth replacement prevents
bone loss or stimulates bone growth. They can give you strong,
healthy, permanent teeth that look and feel beautiful.
Implant Crowns
If necessary, Dr. Agostin can place an implant crown for you.
He takes into account tooth color and size, as well as other
features, to ensure that the crown is as realistic looking
as possible. The crown will be strong, natural looking, and
comfortable.
Traditional Bridges
Sometimes a bit more work is needed to give you the smile
you want. If you are missing teeth, having trouble speaking
or chewing, and noticing strain when biting, bridges may be
the ideal procedure to help make your mouth healthy and beautiful
again. Bridges literally bridge gaps between teeth by filling
them with strong, natural-looking artificial teeth. Bridges
are permanently cemented into the mouth.
Implant-supported Bridges
Implant bridges are a great solution to missing teeth. These
comfortable, effective bridges—which can either be removable
or fixed—fit discreetly over implants, allowing for
maximum support. They look completely natural and are very
comfortable.
Maryland Bridges
A Maryland bridge is a realistic-looking, comfortable alternative
to the traditional bridge. Unlike other types of bridges,
it is not attached to the teeth via metal wires or other type
of material. Instead, it is essentially bonded to the teeth
using a special resin. This type of bridge works best for
those missing very few teeth.

Tooth Whitening
Many of us feel that our smiles are most striking when our
teeth look especially white, but unfortunately, soft drinks,
coffee, tea, and tobacco can leave behind ugly stains. To
help you restore your gleaming, bright white smile and to
give you an added boost of confidence, we offer many options,
such as in-office bleaching.
Veneers
Veneers can perfect your smile by straightening crooked teeth,
closing spaces between teeth, whitening badly stained teeth,
hiding chips, and creating uniformity. In fact, most movie
stars and celebrities aren’t born with those perfect
teeth—instead, they opt for veneers. Veneers, which
are made of thin, customized material designed to slide over
the teeth, look incredibly natural and are long lasting.
Porcelain Crowns
Also called caps, crowns are natural-looking covers that fit
snugly over teeth to conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured,
or chipped teeth. Crowns minimize physical discomfort in and
provide support to damaged teeth. Ultimately, crowns can improve
the overall appearance of your smile while making your teeth
more resistant to injury.
Tooth Recontouring
Gum and tooth recontouring is an excellent option for those
with gummy smiles that make their teeth look short or disproportionate
to the face. During this safe, simple procedure, excess gum
tissue is gently removed, exposing more of the tooth’s
crown—and ultimately, making the tooth look longer—or
tooth enamel is reshaped to create uniformity. Balance between
the amount of gum tissue and tooth surface is the key to a
winning smile.

Full Dentures
Dentures are an excellent option for people who have lost
all their teeth. Precisely designed and molded to fit one’s
mouth, full dentures slide over the gums and are held in place
with strong cheek and mouth muscles. They allow for comfortable
chewing and keep the mouth and its surrounding facial features
in proper alignment. Dentures can last for years and are much
more discreet than they were even a few years ago—no
one but you ever has to know!
Partial Dentures
When properly fitted and designed, partial dentures—which
are strong, comfortable, and virtually indistinguishable from
natural teeth—can provide extra chewing comfort, maintain
facial structure, and ensure added strength. Partial dentures
work best when only a few teeth are missing and are very easy
to care for.
Endodontics
Each of our teeth contains a long, thin strand of dental pulp—which
provides the tooth with nutrients and nerves—that extends
down to the tooth’s root. If the pulp becomes infected
or injured, the tooth’s nerves die, and often, without
endodontic treatment, the tooth dies as well. Root canals
are designed to save such damaged teeth. During the procedure
(performed under anesthesia), a gap is drilled into the tooth’s
crown and pulp chamber, diseased pulp is reshaped or removed,
and the tooth is permanently sealed with a gold, porcelain,
or tooth-colored crown. In addition, we do refer some cases
out to specialists.
Oral Surgery
Sometimes oral surgery is the best option to help you achieve
a flawless smile. Our oral surgeons have mastered a variety
of the most comprehensive surgery techniques, including dental
implants, bridgework, and sealing and root planing. To find
out which procedure will be the best fit for you, please contact
